Greetings! My name is Christine, and I have worked in the field of English language instruction for over 15 years. Throughout my career, my students have included adults, children, immigrants, international students and English as a foreign language learners! I also love leading training workshops for other English instructors. Some of my fondest professional memories are from my time training teachers in Panama and Mexico through the U.S. Department of State’s English Language Programs. The most satisfying part of my work is when I know I’ve helped someone reach a goal, whether that be professional, academic, social or civic! I hold a bachelor’s degree in international studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a master’s degree in linguistics from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
As you may have guessed, I am passionate about language and building international relationships. These passions have driven me to study various languages and to travel all over the world. I also enjoy singing, hiking, spending time with animals, playing video games and reading science fiction.
