Professional Organizations
TESOL International Association: TESOL is a global association and serves 12,000 members from 150 countries. It’s stated mission is to develop and maintain professional expertise in English language teaching and learning for speakers of other languages worldwide.
Wisconsin TESOL: WITESOL is the professional organization for Wisconsin Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages. As an affiliate of TESOL International, it represents and provides professional development and other opportunities to educators of English Language Learners and bilingual students of all levels and ages around the state of Wisconsin.
International Association of Teachers of English as a Foreign Language: IATEFL has over 4,000 members and states that it is ‘one of the most thriving communities of ELT teachers in the world’.
