My name is pronounced Aleeks, and I am originally from London, Ontario, Canada. I recently completed my Master’s in Higher Educational Leadership from UW–Madison, following an earlier Master’s in TESOL from Eastern Michigan University. I have been teaching ESL at UW–Madison for the past two years, combining my background in TESOL and educational leadership to support international students as they navigate the academic and social dimensions of college life. Outside of teaching, I’m a coach with the Wisconsin Dive Club at the Nicholas Recreation Center. My hobbies include traveling, listening to different styles of music, and solving Sudokus. Je suis né à London, en Ontario (Canada). J’ai complété une maîtrise en leadership en enseignement supérieur à l’Université du Wisconsin–Madison, après avoir obtenu une maîtrise en TESOL à l’Université Eastern Michigan. J’enseigne l’anglais langue seconde (ESL) à UW–Madison depuis deux ans, mettant à profit mes connaissances en TESOL et en leadership en enseignement pour soutenir les étudiants internationaux dans leur parcours universitaire et leur intégration sociale.

À part l’enseignement, je suis entraîneur de plongeon pour le club de plongeon à Wisconsin, qui s’entraîne au Nicholas Recreation Center. J’aime écouter de divers styles de musique et résoudre des sudokus. À bientôt !
